Transformer 150 Watt (Japan in USA Step Down)

Japanese voltage (85-100 volts) is normally a little lower than ours so a step down transformer is sometimes needed to run Japanese appliances in North America...
Transformers are required (instead of converters) when continuous power is needed for electronic equipment or large appliances such as computers kitchen appliances medical equipment power tools stereo systems or any permanently installed electrical equipment. Remember: You need either a transformer or a converter to change the voltage input into your appliance. Adapter Plugs alone do NOT change the voltage; they only change the configuration of the pins. For help in choosing the correct adapter voltage converter or transformer for your trip please click on Product Wizard (right below the product image) and select the countries you are visiting and the wattage of the appliances you are taking. The Wizard Results page will show all of the adapters converters etcetra that are in use in the countries you select for the type of appliance(s) you are taking. For more information click on the circled red "?" on the Wizard page. NOTE: Please consult the appliance manufacturer with any questions in this regard.
